How Address 2000 Series Panels Text Keypads

Issue

On a 2000 Series Control Panel does each text keypad need a distinct address?

Solution

Yes, unlike some of our other control panels that can have more than one keypad at an address. The 2000 Series Control Panel Text Keypad’s must have their own individual address. There also must be a Text Keypad at address # 1. The custom text that is used by every text keypad connected to the control is stored within keypad address # 1.
