How to configure D6600 Netcom Time Synchronization

How is the time synchronized for Netcom accounts in the D6600 receiver?

Solution

D6600 Date/Time Synchronization

You can use the D6200 Programming Software package to synchronize the receiver's time with the PC's time.

1. From the menu bar, click System Management, then click Date/Time Synchronization.
2. Click OK.

Netcom Account Time Synchronization

Also using the D6200 Programming Software package, you can set individual netcom account's time if a 7000/9000 series control panel is being used.

1. Open the Netcom Account from the Account Database Configuration window.
2. From the Edit Account window, select the Settings tab.
3. Click on the drop-down menu for Time Sync and select 1.
4. Time Synchronization is now enabled for this account, click OK.
5. For these changes to take effect, you must click Send to Receiver and follow the prompts to ensure successful sending of the Netcom Account Database.

*Note*

This feature is not compatible with the newer B-series panels or the GV4 –V2.xx panels. Time Synchronization is enabled within the panel programming for these type of panels.
