How to Define D5060 Display Messages

How to Define D5060 Display Messages

Overview

When the D5060 programmer is first powered up, the Adr prompt will appear on the screen. First enter the 3 digit point number followed with # (enter). The D5060 will display tyP and the Point Type Entry Code is entered followed by #. The D5060 will alternately display the address and tyP entry. If there is a point connected to the D5060 and the D8125Mux, then # should be entered after making the tyP entry. This will program the address into the point as well as program the D8125Mux. If there is not a point connected to the D5060 and the D8125Mux, [1] should be entered after making the tyP entry to program the D8125Mux only.

Issue

After entering point Type on the D5060 programmer, Err comes up on programmer.

Solution

After making Point Type Entry Code entry at tyP prompt, and the programmer is alternately displaying the address and point type, [#] is entered while no addressable points are connected to the D5060 programmer. When no addressable points are connected to the D5060, [1] should be entered after making the tyP entry, if [#] is entered, Err will appear on the D5060.
