How to Direct Connect the DS7400Xi with WDSRP

Overview

Communication using the DS7400 control with the DS7412 RS232 interface requires a DS7400Xi with ROM version 2.02 or higher.

How is the DS7400 panel configured to direct connect with WDSRP?

Solution

The DS7400Xi versions 2.02 and above use the DS7412 RS232 interface to direct connect with WDSRP. Configure the DS7400Xi and DS7400Xi Ver3+ by setting address 0206 to 1,0 and address 0207 to 2,5. Configure the DS7400Xi Ver4+ by setting address 4019=1,0 and 4020=2,5.
