How-to: Bad Acknowledge Switch on D6600

Issue

Acknowledge Button is not silencing the receiver when depressed.

Solution

1) Open front door of D6600.
2) Follow cable on reverse side of ‘Acknowledge’ button to printed circuit board.
3) Remove connector from printed circuit board.
4) Try shorting pins to silence buzzer.
5) If shorting pins silences buzzer, replace ‘Acknowledge’ button – part # P6603.
6) If shorting pins does not silence buzzer, call Tech Support at 800-289-0096. Select RPS and Conettix
