How to Use Fire Verification on D2212 Series Panel

How does the fire verification process work on the D2212 panel for point 1?

 

 

A short on the sensor loop starts the verification process. The panel then removes power to point 1 for 4 seconds to reset smoke detectors. A short on the loop within 120 seconds of the reset starts an alarm response. If the point remains normal for the 120 second verification window, there is no alarm response.
