How to troubleshoot Facility Code Exceeds Limit in AEC

Issue

When adding a Cardholder to Access Easy Controller (AEC), the system shows the message, "Facility code exceeds limit."

Solution

Verify that you are using the correct Card Format.  The system defaults to the BOSCH-ADC Proprietary Format, but this will not be the correct format for all credentials.  The BOSCH-ADC Proprietary Format only allows for a facility code not exceeding "3 digits."

When adding a card in the Card Details page, you should open the Card Format drop-down box and select the appropriate format for your cards.
