In early versions of C-Soft Designer, audio volume sliders (main, per-line and nena) had a default of 0db gain, basically the slider is off. We suggest increasing the maximum gain to 12 db thus allowing for amplification of lower RX levels.
Length of Sliders - Slider length affects the resolution of the control, so the shorter the slider, the more abruipt changes will be in volume level. The most common method of configuring a slider so that it has sufficient length/resolution is to make it a vertical slider, usually alongside the line it controls.
