SYMPTOM: The log file has a Maximum/Highest temperature that exceeds 80 Degrees C.
Possible causes and solution(s)
Causes
As part of our routine field monitoring for the AUTODOME IP inteox 7000i cameras, a potential overheating issue was observed.
A malfunction in one of the software components controlling the camera's heater. It was in all FW versions between 8.10.0075 and 8.40.0029.
Solution
The camera FW must be upgraded. to 8.40.0029 or higher. If the current FW version is less than 8.12.0005, then it must be first upgraded to 8.12 before upgrading to 8.50/00029 or higher. A new version of
firmware based on the version 8.12.xxxx will be released soon in the first week of November.
This article will be updated with the final build # and changed to a Public article after the new version of 8.12 is available on the DLS.
