Possible causes and solution(s)

Cause:

After upgrading to DICENTIS Conference system 3.60, TLS1.0 is disabled for security reasons, and TLS1.2 is enabled. Since the Multimedia device does not support TLS1.2, it does not show logo and participant images anymore.

Solution:

Enable TLS1.0 on the server:

1. Open a command prompt in Administrator mode.
2. Run \Tools\TLS_MMD\EnableTLS1.0.bat from the DICENTIS ISO file.
3. Powercycle the server.

Note: This directory also contains a file to disable TLS1.0.

Go to the homepage and download the newest software.

Open DCNM.iso file from 3.60 or newer.  (I have renamed it to DCNM_3.61 so that I know which version it is)

• Run \Tools\TLS_MMD\EnableTLS1.0.bat from the DICENTIS ISO file
