LSA Storage Authority Error Code 49 Invalid Credentials (DIVAR IP 6000 AIO)

LSA Storage Authority Error Code 49 Invalid Credentials (DIVAR IP 6000 AIO)

Possible causes and solution(s)

  • Symptoms

Error Code 49: Invalid Credentials when trying to login to LSA management software

LSA fully supports English OS only.

  • Causes

The problem is caused by the fact that the credentials check is based on the English language, so when the Operating System is set to another language than English, the program has an issue with starting up and throws out the error code 49 Invalid Credentials.

  • Solution

To be able to use the LSA app in a non-English OS, the LSA configuration file needs to be edited.

Follow these steps:

  1. Stop the LSAService in Windows Services
  2. Edit the LSA config file (LSA.conf)
     C:\Program Files(x86)\LSI\LSIStroageAuthority\conf\LSA.conf
  3. Check the following command: full_access_groups = Administrators

Depending on the language, this must be adjusted here:

  • French = full_access_groups = Administrateurs
  • German = full_access_groups = Administratoren

  • Spanish = full_access_groups = Administradores

  • Russian = full_access_groups = Администраторы or Administratory

As soon as you have carried out point 3 and saved it, you must restart the LSAService. After following these steps, you should be able to log back in without any problems.
