Unexpected error when adding sensor in FSM
Possible causes and solution(s)
Symptoms
When adding a new sensor the following error message displayed.
Causes
The cause of the error is combination of group address and the text length of the group label as defined in RPS as shown below.
The group address is longer than 3 digits and label text length is 31 characters long.
Solution
There are two solutions:
- Change the group address to 3 digits or less than the label text length can be 31 characters long.
- If is not possible to change the group address to less than 3 digits then the label text length needs to be 30 characters or less.
