There might be problems when you are trying to use the Forensic search function for FLEXIDOME Multi 7000i cameras (FW 8.71.0066) after upgrading from BVMS 10.1 to BVMS 11.1.1.65.

The message is saying that “Forensic search must be configured for this workstation”:

• Solution

BVMS 11.1 Release Note says to use FW 8.30.0082 for CPP 14.1 cameras

Forensic Search works for CPP 14.1/2 cameras with firmware 8.71.0066 version only by using one of the below patches for the standard and Viewer editions:

 The issue is fixed in BVMS 12.0 Release Note, shows 8.71.0066 for CPP14.1/2 

Please always make sure of the compatibility between cameras and BVMS version used and be sure that the VCA is properly configured before using the Forensic search option in BVMS.
