According to the Release Letter of Firmware v7.86.0019 and to the strengthened password policy:

o passwords must be a minimum of 8 characters including special characters

• A password must include at least one of these special characters: ! ? " # $ % ( ) { } [ ] * - = . , ; ^ _ | ~ \
• Other special characters (like space + @ : < > ' & etc.) are not supported. The special character ‘+’ is not allowed in passwords anymore as it conflicts with some authentication methods.
• Also, it was noticed that sometimes the $ character could cause conflicts during the authentication on the camera, and you cannot connect to it at all. Therefore, please try to avoid using this $ character when setting up its password.
