How is VCA Object in field task triggered?

The field intersection trigger “edge of box” means the field alarms whenever any part of the object’s bounding box overlaps with the alarm field:

At the moment, there is no existing way to change the trigger from Binding box to outline of an object. This is as designed in VCA, is not dependent on FW version or HW platform.

When configuring the Intersection Trigger at VCA Task, there are 4 options available:

• Object Center
• Edge of box
• Complete box
• Object base point

All these options are based on the Bounding box, not on the outline of the object.
