Can 40 be used as the first address for a D7052 Dual Point Module or D7053 I/O Module?

  • Solution

The first address on the I/O module can not be set to a multiple of 8. As a rule of thumb,  set the first address as an odd number and you will never hit a multiple of eight.

Addresses that cannot be used to start with on a D7052, D7053, or D7042:

Mux Bus A

  • 16,32,40,48,56,64,72,80,88,96,104,112,120,128

Mux Bus B (if Wired Class B)

  • 136,144,152,160,168,176,184,192,200,208,216,224,232,240,248

Part numbers D7024, FPD-7024, D7042, D7052, D7053
