Live time event printing is supported.

To enable it add a xml file in program data folder with the name of the printer.

This functionality is compatible on dot-matrix printer with roll paper (like Epson Lx o Lq).

Printer must be configured on server pc.

Every time an event is reported, it will be also printed on paper.

Step-by-step guide

To enable LinePrinter module you have to create an XML file on C:\ProgramData\Alesys\SecurityControlServer\Config\LinePrinter.xml

This is the content:

<settings>

False

EPSON LQ Series 1 (136)

en

</settings>

Parameters:

EnableHardCopy: True/False – Enable or disable hardcopy

PrinterName: Name of the printer for hardcopy as named in windows printer

PrinterLanguage: Language code for printer: “en” for english

Note:

If using Epson LX-350 connected to an FSM server installed on Windows 10 x64 then follow instructions below:

The standard Windows 10 driver called “Epson ESC/P 9 pin V4 Class Driver” does not support RAW mode printing.

After download of official driver from epson web site (https://download.epson-biz.com/modules/dot/index.php?page=single_soft&cid=216&pcat=1&pid=9) and installation via setup:
Driver is changed in “EPSON LX-350 ESC/P”
and printer starts to print correctly.

After driver update, please reboot the computer.

This functionality works only with dot matrix printer and prints only alarm textual information using printer font. Printer must be connected to server PC.
